Meet the Owner

Erin is a certified and licensed teacher who left the classroom to pursue her own venture! She opened Mini Philly Explorers in September, 2022. Her passion behind opening this space has been to continue working with children in a small setting. Erin loves allowing children to grow in a safe space while letting them explore in their own way, guiding them along the way. Erin really cares about getting to know each child individually to help each of them feel confident in the developmental stage they're at as well as support the parents at pick up. drop off, and through our app for communication each day. Working with children, guiding them, and teaching them has been Erin's passion forever - it was especially highlighted when she got her bachelors in elementary and special education. Erin is also going back to school for her Masters in Social Work which is learning she will be incorporating into her day-to-day with the kiddos. She loves welcoming little ones in her home and is looking forward to continuing to grow this community she has created! Erin has all of her clearances for PA, is a licensed teacher, and is also a mandated reporter.
