Art
We love to play with paint and mix colors together to make new colors! We also love playing with playdough and some coloring!
Music
Each morning, we start our day with morning songs to welcome everyone in! We have instruments the kids love to use for morning songs. Throughout the day we dance to different Spotify playlists and have so much fun!
Movement
The kids love to play with Ms. Erin and practice yoga! Ms. Erin is a yoga instructor and enjoys incorporating it into the day. We also love to dance and climb on the pickler!
Language
Each day, the kids are prompted to repeat words, practice saying the ABC's, numbers, colors, animals, animal sounds, etc. We practice a lot of repeating to help with language development. We are encourage sign language for the children to work on telling us what they need.
Counting
Each morning during our circle time, the children practice counting with Ms. Erin. The repetition encourages the kids to eventually be confident enough to count on their own.
Outside Play
As often as possible, Ms. Erin likes to take the kids out in the morning to a playground, to Kith and Kin, or to the river! In the afternoons, we often go out front to play with chalk and bubbles at the end of the day before pick up.
